Electromechanical locks are actuating devices. The control of their state (open/closed) is performed by applying or removing the supply voltage — this is possible both with the help of a conventional switch and by means of a controller of the access control system, video intercom, keypad, etc.
Application of electromechanical locks
The main field of application of electromechanical locks is generally accepted to be the restriction of access to premises: they can be installed on entrance doors, as well as gates and wickets.
